Herniated Disc

A Herniated disc is a very common spinal condition that can occur anywhere along the spine.  Herniated disc are most common in the lower back or neck region.  Also known as a ruptured, bulging or slipped disc, a herniated disc develops when one of the cushion-like pads between the vertebrae moves out of position and presses on adjacent nerves.  Herniated discs are typically caused by trauma and overuse injuries to the spine.  When medication, and physical therapy treatment fails, least invasive spine procedures can be an effective pain relieving solution.
