His practice philosophy utilizes evidence-based practices in physical medicine and rehabilitation, functional medicine, integrative medicine, pharmacotherapy, and utilizing the latest innovations in pain medicine and interventional approaches in creating an individualized plan for each patient. He also performs electro-diagnostic (EMG) studies when indicated to determine the source of a patient’s pain symptoms.
Dr. Mohamed is an interventional pain management physician. He is fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Medicine and board-eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his fellowship at The Spine Institute of North America.
Dr. Mohamed has completed his internship in general surgery at Louisiana State University, New Orleans Louisiana. He then completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident.
