Mike was born and raised in Freehold, New Jersey. He received his Bachelor of Exercise Science at the University of Scranton and his Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Philadelphia University. Mike previously worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs in East Orange New Jersey on an orthopedic service before transitioning to Pain Management. He feels this background gives him a unique experience in tying in surgical with interventional treatments. Outside of work, he lives with his wife and daughter and dog Nash, and enjoys being outdoors, especially at the beaches in the summer. He enjoys attending concerts and live sporting events whenever he can
